Venus moves into its Earth home, Taurus, at 14:22 EDT today.  Venus will transit through Taurus until May 8.  Venus the planet of love and art is sensual in the sign of Taurus. It is more focused on relationships and home-life than when it is in its Air domicile of Libra, but it still retains a creative quality.  This is a perfect time to find a new boyfriend, girlfriend or gender non-binary friend.  Yes, even for Air sign people.  (notoriously independent as many of them are, though the Rising Sign can of course mitigate that)  Those already in relationships that are functioning well can find themselves thinking of moving in together now or making a deeper commitment to each other.  Venus in Taurus will have us focusing on our home space, looking for ways to make it more appealing, comfortable and secure. Investment in art for our home would be one example. This planetary energy shift can be good for getting creative projects out of the conceptual stage and into some sort of physical form.  This is also a good time for finding new means to market arts and crafts already completed.  The challenge of this Venus transit is a potential for over-indulgence and excessive pleasure seeking.  Control and over-possessiveness in relationships can be an issue now too.  At its best Venus is calm and focused in Taurus, good things can grow in this space.
