The Sky Now - An Astrology Blog (October 23)

The Sun has moved into Scorpio and the season of transition and transformation is upon us. The Sun will traverse Scorpio until November 21 and throughout this transit we will journey through our own personal netherworld.  Mars will join the Sun in Scorpio on October 30, bringing action to new awareness.  On Samhain we pay homage to the dead and departed, and we consider what we must let go of in our own life.  On November 4 we bury what we must bury and plant what seeds must be planted at the time of the New Moon in Scorpio.  Mercury will enter Scorpio on November 5,
at which point we will dive deep into the realm of mystery, fetish and the taboo. This is the pinnacle of Scorpio Season with the Sun, Mars, the Moon and Mercury all immersed in the Fixed Water Sign.
Desire and intensity set the tone for the Season.  Jealousy, intrigue, manipulation and the pursuit of power charge the landscape, as can sex and sexuality. If you have been resisting change you can find yourself pushed into it now. If emotion is not your thing best to rest in the early days of Scorpio Season, for like it or not life is going to get intense over the next four weeks, particularly in the areas of life governed  by the Scorpio ruled House in your Natal chart.
