Mercury transits into Pisces at 8:32 PM EST today.  Mercury in Pisces brings our mind to the realm of emotion, imagination and dreams.  We become more compassionate toward the suffering of others when Mercury is in Pisces.  We become more caring.  However we must be careful to not let caring become willful blindness to selfish, manipulative or dishonest actions of the more predatorial among us. Be ready to assert boundaries when crossing paths with narcissists or sociopaths, of which there are more out there than you might imagine. Intuition of course is enhanced  when Mercury is in Pisces, particularly while the Sun is also in Pisces. Separate from sentiment, trust your gut. This can help you see people as they are, not as who you would like them to be. Those who abuse substances may find themselves falling deeper into those destructive behaviors now. Keep a closer eye than usual on any of your people with issues there. The sensitive nature of mutable Water can open us to healing now but can also make us vulnerable to pain and trauma, both new and old. Be sure to up your self-care practice during this transit. In the artistic sense this is a inspired creative placement for Mercury.  A lot of fine emotion inspired work can flow out of creative folk now.  Mercury transits Pisces until March 27 of this year.
