The Sky Now - An Astrology Blog (June 21)

The Sun is at OO degrees of Cancer now and the season of Cardinal Water is upon us.  Cancer Season takes our focus to matters of love, home, family, roots and ancestral experience.  It is a time of new self awareness and it is a time of care-taking activity.  We seek emotional connection now, we seek emotional comfort.  At Summer Solstice we give thanks to the life-giving energy of the Sun.  We desire to enjoy the bounty of our life in Cancer Season and we feel grateful for it, but we should also remember to share that bounty.  We are in our empathy and compassion during Cancer Season , and we should direct some of those energies outward toward members of the community around us, particularly those who are not doing so well.  This is a nurturing season and we can grow many good things now, things both for the present and for the future.   As you flow through Cancer Season find the right balance between enjoying your life and contributing toward the enrichment of the lives of others around you.
