The Sky Now - An Astrology Blog (July 22)

The bright bold vitality of the Sun bursts forth now as it enters Leo, the Fixed Fire element sign that it rules.  This is a time to get excited about participating in the experience that is life. This is a time of forming future goals. It is a time of self manifestation,  of self promotion for some and of public self expression for all.  Everyone is at least a little bit of an extrovert when the Sun passes through the sign of Leo.  This is a time of gatherings and celebration.  Allow yourself to indulge in festive pleasures throughout the four weeks of Leo Season.  And yes, there may be drama. In fact it is likely there will be drama emanating from the more self-focused and/or ego challenged among us. Watch for over-exaggeration from some,  particularly over the next ten days while Mercury transits Leo as well. Do not allow yourself to fall victim to the devious manipulations and machinations of others with an agenda. Do not take all the messaging  that comes your way as gospel now. Be sure to do your own due diligence before coming to a conclusion about whatever controversy may rise around you or before jumping into an opportunity or deal. While the Sun is in Leo consider the narrative you are weaving in your own life now and whether it is the right narrative for you.
