The Sky Now - An Astrology Blog (January 1)

The Sun trines Uranus to start the year and Mercury moves into Aquarius over the next 24 hours, enabling us to imagine our life in a different way and to see our self in a different light. Obstacles in our mind that blocked us from our heart’s desire crumble and fall to the wayside.  We can see our way through now and we move toward our truth and our desire.  We understand that our future can be one which we desire. We do not have to settle.  All we need is the courage and the faith to step into the unknown.  

The most significant astrological event of the year is the ingress of Jupiter into Pisces, a mystical, magical transit that began on the 28th of December. Jupiter in Pisces brings spiritual enlightenment, well-being and good fortune. Look to your own Natal Chart to see via House rulership which areas of your life  will be impacted most by this transit.  Collectively the energy of Jupiter in Pisces is inspiring and unifying. Beautiful new dreams will be formed. Beautiful art will be created.  Beautiful love will be made. Finally after two years in which the defining planetary event was negative we get a year when it is positive. This transit helps us to become more connected with our self, with spirituality, with the Universe and with each other. And it can help inspire us to move in the direction we must move in, both individually and collectively.

The Karmic Nodes shift signs on the 19th of this month, shifting the karmic axis to Taurus and Scorpio.  Again, look to your own Natal Chart to which Houses these signs fall upon. Things will be percolating in the areas of life governed by those signs.  The shift of the Nodes and the mid-year ingress of Jupiter into Aries should help put the pandemic into a much more manageable state by fall.
