The Sky Now - An Astrology Blog (February 25)

Cosmic energies remain intense with combative Mars and Eris squaring off in Capricorn and Aries Friday. The volatile Mercury square with Uranus that formed Thursday continues to radiate energies of chaos and destruction.  As mentioned in my podcast Monday that aspect going exact Thursday indicated that Thursday would be the most likely day that Putin would invade Ukraine.  That he was going to do so however has been clear for weeks. This invasion should not have come  as a surprise to anyone. Certainly the transit astrology chart for the country of Ukraine has looked harsh for weeks. 

The Inverted Emperor is one of the darkest archetypes of history.  He is a cruel ruthless autocrat who rules absolutely with an iron fist and who holds no concern for the welfare of those who stand in the path of his ambition  or ultimately even that of his own people. In his megalomania he seeks glory for himself  via taking what he sees as his rightful place in history.  Hitler was the last such monster to rise on the world stage. Now Putin has shown his own true colours with his campaign to redraw the map of Europe.  

​History has shown that the Inverted Emperor can be defeated.  His own vast ego is his greatest vulnerability.  So far the army and the people of Ukraine have shown great strength and resolve in their fight for their freedom and their identity. The people of Russia themselves  are massing in the streets in protest against the outrageous violation  that this war is.  The people of the world need to rise as one against this tyrant in any way they can now.  Take away his resources,  take away his money and take away his power.  Cut him off completely and in every way. This Emperor cannot be reasoned with and thus he must be crushed.
