The Sky Now - An Astrology Blog (August 4)

Thursday morning the Moon moved into Scorpio, the Sun of course is in Leo.  As Scorpio and Leo are two of the least compatible signs and energies in the Zodiac when the Moon transits into Scorpio in Leo Season the tone of the cosmic energy mix is decidedly discordant. Conflict can easily erupt. Long-lasting anger and resentment can be the result, bitterness and hatred even.  The Planet Mercury transited into Virgo overnight and for the next three weeks our thought processes will become much more analytical. The effect of the combination of the current Scorpio Moon and Virgo Mercury energies can be quite triggering around obsessions and obsessive behavior. Certainly Thursday is a good day for research, it can also be a day for falling into and getting lost in endlessly looping rabbit holes. Friday the Moon continues its transit through Scorpio. Energies get more intense and dramatic as the Moon connects with the South Node, bringing the past into our emotional present.  Friday can be a day of emotional trials and tribulations.  Be careful how you react to confrontations.  Be careful that you do not say or do something now that you cannot take back. Friday will certainly be a day of Karmic retribution and penalty for some.  It is definitely not a good day to try to get away with something, so guide yourself accordingly.
