The Sun and Mercury have joined Venus in the sign of Taurus.  The predominant Cosmic modality is now Fixed rather than Cardinal. After high-energy, intense activity oriented Aries Season we are ready to detach from external situations and root our self in our own life and our own journey.  The early days of Taurus season should have us deconstructing and examining our past.  This process may not be comfortable but it will help us to lay new foundations that will serve us better moving forward.  This is a season of love, rich sensual love but also the committed caring kind.  We seek real relationships based in substance, loyalty and shared values now, not simply passionate adventures.  This is a time to nurture what we have planted over the past weeks, for nothing grows without care and tending.   The Sun is in Taurus until May 20,  Venus will be in Taurus until May 8 and Mercury will transit Taurus until May 3.  Fixed sign people will feel most at home while the Sun is in Taurus, they will appreciate the grounded energy of the season.  The shadow side of Taurus is stubbornness, jealousy and possessiveness.
