New Moons are times to plant seeds. Today’s New Moon in Libra is a time to plant seeds of evolution, both in the personal and the collective sense. The Libra New Moon asks us to bring the love we can to each situation, interaction, and relationship in life. The love level may not be consistent overall depending on any number of factors, but what is important is to always be coming from a place of love. We are all human. All humans are imperfect beings. It is important to hold ourselves to a high standard of behavior and bring the best we can to each situation in life. At the same time we are all works in progress and as such deserving of love and compassion, starting with our own. It is important to have consideration of and respect for the basic human rights of those around us. It is important to support those around us as we can, particularly those who are struggling. At the same time we need to look after our own well-being and to honour our own experience in situations and relationships that are or have been difficult. So finding balance, another Libran element and ideal, is then important, too. The creed I live by is Do No Harm, implicit in that of course is allow no harm to come to you. Fair and healthy boundaries are important to that end, as is quickly exiting any situation or space that has shown itself to be dangerous. Self-protection is a core component of self-care and self-love. What the Libra New Moon asks us to do is ascend and live as our higher plane self as much as we can. To live in this way is to live spiritually, and to live spiritually is to live in alignment with the Spiritual Universe.
