The Moon is in its power building, waxing crescent phase this week. It begins the week in Taurus, setting a strong Venusian tone for the week. Venus (planetary ruler of Taurus) itself is the feature celestial player this week. The planet of love, creation, and art transits into spicy Cardinal Fire sign Aries on Wednesday, where it will travel until June 6. Then on Friday Venus docks with dreamy, inspirational planet Neptune for a sweet three day conjunction. Love and magic are in the air for the weekend for those who are ready for it and open to it. Getting back to the Moon’s travels this week, in the early hours of Tuesday the Moon moves into Gemini where it stimulates communication and favors applications and presentations, particularly on Wednesday when it connects with Jupiter.  Luna brings us all into our emotions and makes us aware of our emotional needs Thursday and Friday as it moves through its home waters of Cancer. I feel this week would be a good baby-making energy window for those looking to conceive a child. And for those not, think conception and birth metaphorically then.  Thursday May 1 marks the sabbat Beltane for witches and other sundry pagans, essentially a celebration of life, passion, and passionate living. Saturday morning the Moon moves into social Leo, where it connects with energy-bringer Mars. The vibe for Saturday and Sunday should be positive and hopeful. Life is for living, so go live it.
